My first poem

I started to gain interest in writing when I was 14, I used to write various stuff once people around me started to like my writings, it gave me a lot of courage in taking serious interest in poems, motivational articles, speech and much other stuff, I won’t say that all that writings where a proper set of poems, the poem which I first wrote properly when I was 15, I still remember the time when I was just randomly thinking about this title A year of promises, and I kept on writing about each promise to myself to a new start. I love the way it turns out to be and this poem is definitely my most favorite poem of mine, it has a big reminder for myself.

Let me take my first step towards the new world.

Let me make a promise to myself
for the start of new rising sun.

Let me start my first month with joy and happiness.
Let me make a promise to myself to keep the joy forever.

I will not hold the past against myself.
I will forget all the problems, regret, and pain in my life by seeing the magical sky with full of stars.

Let make a promise to myself that I will not blame others for my own mistakes.
Let me make a promise to myself I will change for my mistakes.

Let me promise to myself that I will not let any situation permanently steal my smile.
Let me make a promise to myself that I will celebrate and appreciate myself for the life I live.

I will realize and use my power to make a difference.
I will try to remove difference and help to connect the world with all my strength.

Let me make a promise to myself that I will not bend against injustice.
Let me make a promise to myself to help all the people around me.

Life is not all rainbow and butterflies. It is a hilly mountain which we have to clear safely and calmly.

Let me take this chance of making myself more confident.
Let me make a promise to prove myself through making this “YEARS OF PROMISES” come true.
